Fifi is a singer and actress trained in musical theatre at two of the UK’s best institutions: Arts Educational Schools London and Central School of Speech and Drama.

Since then Fiona has appeared in singer songwriter Joan Foan’s break-out single “Kill Me With A Kiss”, co-produced the army inspired theatre charity event “Behind The Lines” and has lent her vocals to dance producer Matt Saunders for his new single “Is This Love” . But Fifi's true passion for music lies in another era, singing the jazz standards of the 1930's and 40's. Distinctive, minimal soul-folk stylings from British artist Robyn Sherwell.

Writing straight from the heart, her songs explore love, heartbreak and notions of home and belonging, sentiments exposed through stripped-back production tinged with electro ambiance. Arresting vocals blend power and fragility, and an uncompromisingly raw delivery gives rise to a gorgeously bittersweet collection of songs.

With her songs “Heart” and “Mister Mister” included as background music in the recent London Film Festival hit Junkhearts (Eddie Marsan, Tom Sturridge) and rave reviews from the industry panel at Unsigned Band Review, Robyn is set for great things in 2012.
